Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a tax return question one of my friends is having problems with.
She has a new client, a single guy in his late twenties. His parents are originally from Sweden, but have lived in the U.S. for all of his life. Over the years they have made investments in his name. Anyway, my friend has information regarding stock dividends. Basically, we are too stupid to read the paper. For example, if we have the number thirty thousand two hundred forty-eight dollars and twenty cents it looks like 30,248.20. The paper she has shows the number 30.214,20. The comma and decimal are switched. Is that the same number? It is shown above the words Saldo inkl. ranta. Or at least that's what it looks like. The fax is not very clear.
If anyone could enlighten us stupid lazy Americans I would greatly appreciate it.
How would you describe the sound of footsteps; big heavy footsteps of a certain villainous character?
Also, let's say that these footsteps coincided or joined in with something else. Would you just say that these two things coincided or that they were in sync. or what?
Hope this made sense. Much thanks in advance.
